Even simple refashions sometimes don’t work out the way you envision them. I’m putting this one in the lost vision pile.
I started out with this sister-wives-esqueish long denim skirt found at the thrift. I loved the front buttons and pockets and thought a simple hack of the length would leave me with a cute summer skirt.
Eh.
Not really. All I can see is a slightly shorter sister-wives-esqueish denim skirt, which is not quite the look for me. (Not that there’s anything wrong with that.) It looks less flattering in person, trust me. Maybe I should try to shorten it a bit more? Or just donate it back to the thrift?
